The age of our 33 schools ranges from as old as 51 years to under 5 years, including 4 High School sites newly constructed. No matter the lifespan, Scottsdale Unified has consistently maintained, reconditioned and upgraded our facilities in order to ensure a clean, safe environment for all our stakeholders.  

 

We boast a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan that ensures the longevity of our school sites. 

 

There is, in place, a state of the art, web-based work order system that facilitates our staff in responding to facility problems in a timely manner as to provide minimum disruption of the education process.

 

We  currently have an on-site warehouse to house high use inventory items for rapid response to common trouble calls.

 

Our department is staffed with highly qualified individuals who have a knowledge that, collectively, they are each a piece of the puzzle that completes an environment that contributes to learning.

The mission of the Scottsdale Unified School District's Department of Facilities Management for Learners is to ensure that building services and construction activities comply with all applicable policies, laws, and ordinances; to make the best use of resources; to provide a clean, safe and pleasant work environment for students and staff and to support all educational programs in the best manner possible to facilitate learning and student success.
